THINGS I KNOW (the quiz)


	The Pusher Issue is about dope, pot, reefer, Mary Jane, weed, grass, gaaaaaaaanja. And it's also about pushing - pushing other people with pokey fingers to do what you want them to and about feeling pushed smack up against a wall yourself.

	It started with my boyfriend, Bill, who showed up for dinner with my parents stoned out of his freakin' mind (!)

	Since this wasn't the first time his little herb-habit had reared up like a green monster and eaten my weekend, we had a chat about it. Nasty little ankle-biting words were exchanged, and in the end, Bill screeched he'd not only cut back, but actually quit smoking pot for me since I was so damned high-and-mighty with something stuck up my butt about it.

Well, about that time, Gordon, my friend who was dying from cancer, was getting so skinny he couldn't even cover up how bad it was with the two layers of track pants. So I promised I'd get him some pot to help him eat more.


	So I got the pager number of some dealer, arranged a meeting and guess who showed up? Hint: it's a cringe-don't-look moment you wouldn't want to experience. Yup. My boyfriend, Bill, the guy I'd just chewed up and down for smoking pot, was the pusher.


	And I was against the wall. So, I sucked up my pride, and bought pot from my really mad boyfriend so that Gordon could live a little longer. Pushed against a wall, we see what we're really made of. And that's what The Pusher Issue is all about.
