OK, here's the basics:

Born ('ray!), childhood/teen years wherein my Dad wrote about me in his newspaper 'humour' column. This is his job, cataloguing my 'awkward' years for the world to see. Then my asswipe brother's marriage broke up, and he moved back home and started eating all the cereal and generally wrecking my life further. Started writing a zine. Felt better about life.

After that there was this nutty few weeks where I met this crazy guy, got a job at a health food store, and my pal, Ross started showing signs of maybe being gay - signs that really were there all along only Mary-E (my best friend) and I just started to notice when he came to school in these monster gay-boy shoes.

Then I managed to score a date with my long time crush, "Perfectly" Frank Mananghaya, but all lust was brought to a screeching halt due to his wearing "don't have to tie 'em" shoelaces. Then a fellow zine writer, Oscar, came to visit, smooched all my friends and peed in my sink.
Then I met Bill.
Fell bum over tea kettle in love, even though he turned out to be a dope dealer and a cheat who used me like a handywipe. I couldn't help it! He did this neck-kissing thing that made me forget!! About the same time Mary-E hooked up with this great guy, Dalal, Bill told me he loved me, and I wanted to believe him so I slept with him just once without a condom, and he gave me chlamydia! Only he wouldn't admit it so I broke up with him.

And then right at the same minute, practically to the second, my friend Gordon, a guy who really and truly DID love me, died and my whole world melted into some kind of gooey mess like hot chewing gum, and I haven't been able to climb out of it since.
